// The context
Your inbox is the map of your digital past.
Over 10 years of signing up for services, trials, newsletters, and SaaS tools — most people have 200+ registered accounts. The majority are forgotten, some are breached, and all are invisible. You can't protect what you can't see. ClearMyPrint started from one question: what if you could surface your entire digital footprint in a single scan?
// The opportunity
The source of truth is already in your inbox.
Every service you ever signed up for sent you a welcome email. Instead of asking users to manually recall 200+ accounts, I tapped the one source they already have — their inbox. One OAuth connection to Gmail or Outlook gives access to a goldmine of metadata: sender domains, dates, volumes. The entire digital footprint derives from data users already own.
// The solution
A two-phase detection pipeline, enriched by AI.
Built a real detection system from scratch. The fast scan reads header metadata only — sender domain, date, never content — matches against a service registry DB, and streams results live via SSE. Each service is assigned a confidence level: Confirmed, Probable, or Uncertain. The deep scan optionally reads one message body per unmatched domain for AI enrichment with Claude Haiku. Built solo over 6 weeks, shipped at clearmyprint.com.
